Small farmers will have more space

Hungarian small producers, family farmers, micro, small and medium food enterprises are the basis of Hungarian agriculture. The Ministry has set a vision for giving these small entrepreneurs even more space, said Minister of Agriculture Nagy István in Fülöpszállás in Bács-Kiskun County, where he handed over the supporting documents of the tender for the modernization of livestock farms to entrepreneurs from the county.

According to the Minister of Agriculture, the tender opportunities announced so far also prove that the support schemes are the key to development. He pointed out that the willingness to invest had increased due to the targeted subsidies, and said that the budget for the tender for the development of livestock farms, published last year, had been increased from 50 billion HUF to 260 billion HUF due to great interest, and the call would be reopened from 14 July.
