The agrarian chamber wants a larger advance payment
According to the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), there would be a possibility to pay out even tens of billion HUF more in the remaining two weeks of the advance payment period. The chamber asks the government to consider this possibility.
The public body told MTI on Tuesday that the advance payment was started on 16 October, and the Hungarian State Treasury (MÁK) transferred the subsidies to the farmers by the end of October. Until the deadline of 30 November, a payment of more than 200 billion HUF was anticipated, which, however, amounts to more than ever, but NAK believes it would be possible to make an additional advance payment.
