Big green disco
Surya Club in London might as well be called an eco-disco where the Club4Climate concept helps to promote ecological consciousness. Their slogan is “Dance to save the world”. 60 percent of the energy consumed by the club is generated by dancers’ feet, while the rest comes from solar cells and a windmill. Guests arriving by bicycle or on foot can enter free of charge. Critical Mass in Rotterdam was the first “Eco” club in the world with LED lighting, rainwater used for flushing toilets and walls changing their colour in response to the heat given off by the people inside.
