Zsófia Nagy-Vargha: the Start program supports the launch of another twenty businesses
The Start program of the National Talent Center and the Design Terminal supports the implementation of the innovative businesses of twenty more young people – announced the Deputy State Secretary for Youth at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) on Thursday in Budapest.
Zsófia Nagy-Vargha said at the opening event of the second round of the program that compared to the first call last spring, more than twice as many applied, and a large number of Hungarians from across the border also applied for the program.
The goal of the scholarship is to make the businesses successful, and thus to utilize the talents’ knowledge at the level of the national economy as well. The success of young people can therefore also be the success of Hungary – emphasized the deputy state secretary.
Zsófia Nagy-Vargha also spoke about the fact that talent management is an area behind which there is a clear social consensus. That is why the National Talent Program was launched 14 years ago, within the framework of which almost 19,000 projects worth HUF 33 billion have been implemented since then, i.e. 300-350,000 talented young people are supported every year.
