The number of cash payments decreasing
Landslide-like changes have been brought in everyday life, including measures related to the coronavirus pandemic in banking and shopping, such as curfew restrictions – napi.hu wrote.
The average value of online shopping has increased from 17,000 HUF to 20,000 HUF, seven out of ten people visit bank branches less often and pay more and more often with a credit card. However, this does not mean the end of the popularity of cash – according to recent research by K&H. (napi.hu, Domokos László)
