Lidl’s new cookbook promises to be a great success
The cookbook series of Lidl Hungary has written a success story, which together with the eighth volume, which is now debuting, has already been published in more than three million copies. The latest volume of the successful and deservedly popular series is entitled “The Lidl kitchen presents: Foods and Seasons” and is available as part of the chain’s loyalty program from November 28.
The supermarket chain launched its cookbook series eight years ago with the undisclosed goal of making as many people as possible fall in love with home cooking and showing that simple and healthy meals can be prepared with pleasure and passion. Those who closely follow the Lidl kitchen already know that the cookbook is built around a specific theme every year. Tamás Széll, Lidl’s chef, has chosen a topic for the new volume that is worth exploring a little more thoroughly this time as well. Seasonal vegetables and fruits, the consumption of which is beneficial not only from a sustainability point of view, but also because of its countless beneficial health effects, are the focus of the latest volume, which will be released soon. Seasonal eating has the advantage of using what and when nature provides as raw materials, in addition to being good for our wallet.
