The package includes, among other things, the regulation of short-term housing rentals (the government will only make changes in the capital, there will be no Airbnb regulation in the countryside), the maximization of the service fee, the comprehensive regulation of tour guiding activities, the development of the digital SZÉP card, and according to the plans, the introduction of the carbon dioxide tax on airlines – explained the minister.
Regarding the short-term rental of apartments, the minister said that the government will only make changes in Budapest, there will be no Airbnb regulation in the countryside.
