Nagy István: animal keepers receive additional resources
According to a briefing by the ministry published on Wednesday, the minister recalled that the sharp rise in feed prices, restrictions caused by animal diseases and the combined market effect of the coronavirus pandemic justified an increase in the amount of livestock subsidies originally planned in the budget. He added that the surplus will make it possible to increase the resources initially available for poultry animal welfare support by an additional 2.1 billion HUF this year, and for pig fattening animal welfare support by 1.2 billion HUF.
