Nagy István: the advance payment of agricultural subsidies starts on Wednesday
The advance payment of agricultural subsidies to farmers through the Hungarian State Treasury (MÁK) will start on Wednesday, amounting to 240 billion HUF this year – the Minister of Agriculture Nagy István said at a press conference in Budapest.
By the end of the year, about 200 billion HUF of direct support will be paid, while some area and animal subsidies of the Rural Development Program will be paid an advance of 30 billion HUF, he said. In addition, farmers will receive an additional 12.3 billion HUF related to single applications. (MTI)
