Nagy István: application for subsidies should be easy in the new CAP
Hungary will only support a new common agricultural policy (CAP), which makes the application and payment of subsidies easy for both farmers and Member States’ organizations – Nagy István Minister of Agriculture emphasized in Brussels at the Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting.
According to the communication of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) published on Monday, the EU agriculture ministers discussed the post-2020 framework. They agreed that a new, wealthy CAP would be needed, in which farmers would be able to access the subsidies they receive as easy as possible. (MTI)
