Nagy István: countries with strong agriculture must act together to preserve CAP funds
The countries with traditionally strong agriculture need to act together to retain the resources of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and to preserve farm-friendly, simple regulation – Agriculture Minister Nagy István said after a bilateral meeting with French Minister of Agriculture Didier Guillaume in Paris on Tuesday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), the ministry leaders agreed at the meeting that CAP funds should be kept at their current level for the post-2020 period in order for European farmers to remain competitive on the global market. (MTI)
