Nagy István: to maintain the EU agricultural budget a joint action by the region is needed
The EU agricultural budget for the next seven years should not be reduced, even by increasing the contribution of individual countries, Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture said on Friday in Bábolna, where Central European Chamber of Agricultural Chambers meeting was held for the first time with the participation of six countries.
The minister added that the Central European countries share a common past, common problems and interests, and that they must act together to ensure that farmers can provide a livelihood for farmers, and that quality, domestic food can be provided to the population. This must be achieved by taking into account climate change prevention and sustainable development. (MTI)
