István Nagy: increasing efficiency and innovation will be the focus of calls for tenders between 2021-2027
In the support period between 2021 and 2027, the government’s goal is to encourage the production of products with higher added value, therefore increasing efficiency, innovation, and robotization were the focus of the calls for tenders – said Minister of Agriculture István Nagy at the ceremonial award ceremony of the Food Supplier Development Program (ÉLIP) on Tuesday, in Budapest.
The head of the ministry welcomed the fact that the government increased the budget of ÉLIP from HUF 6 billion to HUF 33 billion, so that a total of 78 companies can join the development of the Hungarian food industry as priority partners, thereby contributing to increasing the competitiveness of the sector and Hungary.
