Nagy István: The country’s largest apple growing facility will be completed by March 2022
The construction of the country’s largest apple-growing facility in Újfehértó will be completed by March next year, the Minister of Agriculture said at the inauguration ceremony of the 9.6 billion HUF investment in the small town of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.
Nagy István explained that the research, consulting and post-harvest logistics center based on apple production will also have storage, sorting and packaging infrastructure, with a capacity of 9,000 tons, it will be able to sell a total of about 20,000 tons of table and industrial apples and other fruits.
