The professional event of Syngenta’s 6 ton program in Siófok attracted great interest
Syngenta is committed to supporting its growers in achieving higher yields not only with sunflower hybrids with excellent genetics, but also with its experience and technical advice, as well as its constantly expanding digital solutions. The company’s 6-ton sunflower program is unique in that, thinking and developing together with the producers, they examine step by step what can take away from the crop and how this can be eliminated.
This year is the second year when Syngenta’s experts shared the results and experiences of the 6-ton program with the participating producers. At the same time, the winners of the crop competition received their awards in Siófok during the gala dinner.
One of the foundations of a good harvest is a reliable hybrid with high yield potential. Syngenta currently has the widest sunflower hybrid offer on the sunflower seed market, farmers can choose regardless of oil type in all weed control segments.
This year, the introduction of the SY Corsica AR sunflower hybrid is not a simple hybrid introduction, but also the introduction of a completely new weed control system. The A.I.R. technology has been integrated into the excellent Syngenta genetics, thus they have the high yield potential typical of Syngenta hybrids and are also the most flexible weed control system currently available on the market. The A.I.R. thanks to technology, it enables a free choice among the (post) active ingredients (imazamox, tribenuron-methyl) that can currently be used in the stock and its adjustment to the established weed conditions.
