Nébih initiates inspections because of illegally sold foreign meat
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) initiates inspections at chain stores if there is a suspicion that pork from abroad is being sold in Hungary in an illegal manner. According to industry, in recent days, meat products from some EU member states have appeared in stores at unrealistically low dumped prices, which could jeopardize the market positions of domestic meat companies.
