Müller is preparing for a big launch
In Váci Street in Budapest, intensive works are underway as part of the construction led by SWIETELSKY Magyarország Kft., where a new 8,500 square meter commercial building and 40 large rental apartments are being built. The investment is financed by the Müller company, whose Hungarian subsidiary has 750 drugstores across Europe.
In addition to the construction works and the design of the structure, the project also covers the design of the interior spaces. According to the plans, the building will be important not only from a commercial point of view, but also from a residential point of view, it will include a two-level underground garage and retail units.
The Óbuda Group undertakes the tasks of project manager and technical inspector. Construction began in November 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in 1.5 years, with the reinforced concrete structure of the building completed by the end of March. In the design of the new building, elements of the previous structure were also taken into account, for example, the staircase of the former Fontana house was integrated into the new mechanical engineering tower.
The connection between the building and the neighboring hotel was solved with prefabricated reinforced concrete walls.
