There is a high demand for milk at the price cap, it is hardly available
In many places, you can’t get milk at the official price. Viewers of RTL Híradó sent footage of empty shelves from several locations, and rural customers also complained about this on Tuesday. According to the Milk Product Council, high demand may be the cause of the shortage, because 70 percent more of the price-stopped milk was sold than last year. The government reacted to the phenomenon with war and Brussels.

No Milk Today
Seeing an empty pallet in a shop in a rural town, a viewer of RTL Híradó sent a recording of it. He was looking for 2.8% long-lasting milk at the official price, but he couldn’t find it here or in any other store. Another viewer in Budapest experienced the same thing. But the situation is no better in Békéscsaba.
A customer there reported to the Hírado that he only gets HUF 300-400 milk, no 2.8, even though it would only be HUF 209. Another customer, Ágnes Nemes, told the Hírado that she tried persistently, and did not receive official price milk at three chain stores.
