myPOS introduces Tap to Pay on iPhone in Hungary
UK-based payment service provider myPOS is introducing Tap to Pay on iPhone for businesses in Hungary. Tap to Pay on iPhone is available through the myPOS Glass app and allows merchants to accept all forms of contactless payment, including contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets, directly on their iPhone, without the need for additional hardware.
Customers value speed, security and convenience when making payments, which is why they prefer contactless cards and digital wallets. Tap to Pay on iPhone allows businesses to easily meet these expectations by accepting secure, contactless payments anywhere, anytime. With myPOS, merchants get their money instantly, without any additional costs,
said Ferenc B. Tóth, Country Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at myPOS.
MyPOS merchants with a compatible iPhone – iPhone XS or later – can simply download the myPOS Glass app, complete online authentication and start accepting contactless payments right away. Accepting a payment is a few simple steps: the merchant opens the app, records the appropriate amount, and then holds their iPhone in front of the customer. The customer simply taps a contactless payment method – such as Apple Pay or another digital wallet – to the merchant’s iPhone, and the payment is completed seamlessly and securely using NFC technology.
Many merchants are excited about the arrival of Tap to Pay on iPhone, which will help them grow their business, reach more customers, and accept payments anywhere.
Tap to Pay on iPhone saves me and my customers time and effort. Payments can be made with a single swipe, in seconds. This feature provides even greater convenience for my customers, while allowing me to accept payments anywhere, anytime
– said Krisztina Kende-Hofherr, founder of TMC Group and the AJMAFT SME business community and support program.
