The consumer protection authority inspects the catering units and entertainers

Connected to the tourist season, between June 20 and August 26 consumer protection authorities particularly check the entertainers' equipments and catering units – said Petrik Sándor, Director of Csongrád County Government Office's Inspectorate of Consumer Protection on Wednesday in Szeged.

The primary purpose of the action is not the collecting of fines, but to enforce the rules. In 2009, more than half of the tested equipments, in 2010, 20 percent failed the legal requirements of operation. This is the reason why the consumer protection authority pays a special attention on them – reports MTI.
