Small horticultures are struggling with labor shortages
The seasonal work in horticultures is an indisputable problem, and many farmers find no workers to harvest crops. Labor shortages are a problem in the whole agrarian sector, together with the fact that the KSH measured expanded employment – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
In a horticulture, usually all workflows are handled with permanent employees except harvest, when seasonal workers are needed – Ledó Ferenc, president of the FruitVeB Hungarian Vegetables and Fruit Interprofessional Organization and Product Board, told Világgazdaság. (Kelemen Zoltán, vg.hu)
