By establishing a working group, NAK supports the development of the market for exempt products
The special professional activities of the National Chamber of Agriculture have been expanded, and the working group for “Free” products has been established, the purpose of which is to provide professional support to producers and represent their interests in shaping and maintaining the regulatory environment of product circles, as well as ensuring the quality of gluten-, lactose-, milk- and sugar-free products.
In our country, more and more people suffer from gluten sensitivity, milk protein allergy, milk sugar sensitivity (lactose intolerance) and diabetes. Due to the possibility of developing a healthy lifestyle, it is absolutely important that people suffering from food allergies can maintain a suitable diet, which can be helped by various free products.
The production of such “free” type products requires a high level of expertise, because in addition to the relevant legislation, regulations and standards, the development of nutrition science must also be continuously monitored in order to ensure safe and effective product production, in the selection of food ingredients.
The market for exempt products is constantly growing and companies in the food industry must prepare to meet this growing demand. At the same time, the competition for consumers who expect higher quality and a more varied range of products is also increasing in the market of exempt products.
