Working after the crisis – what employees expect from companies
Siemens Zrt. has launched a survey on current working practices, trusting that the results will provide useful information to all companies working on the development of the new norm system after the coronavirus crisis. Although the survey is not representative, it is a good reflection of the changes that have taken place in the world of work over the last year and a half. Before the pandemic, 89.2 percent of respondents worked exclusively or mainly in offices. This proportion fell to less than half of those surveyed to 43.2 percent in the past year and a half, also 43.2 percent in a hybrid system, typically working mainly from home, and 13.7 percent switching entirely from home to work. The majority of those employed in the hybrid system (41.8 percent) spend two and three (22.4 percent) days in a home office a week, respectively.
