Migros To Launch Plastic Packaging Collection Project
Swiss retailer Migros has announced plans to launch a new project that aims to facilitate the collection of plastic packaging from customers for recycling.
The initiative, scheduled to be launched on 29 June at the Migros Cooperative in Lucerne, will see the introduction of the Migros plastic collection bags.
The special collecting bags will be available in three sizes, priced between CHF 0.90 and CHF 2.50.
Customers will use the bag to return plastic packaging from their homes to collection points set up in Migros stores.
The retailer will also offer take-back points for returning plastic packaging.
