MTÜ: record growth in the use of the Szép card

In terms of recharging and spending, this was a record result in July. Szép card is the engine of tourism – the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told MTI on Wednesday.

According to the latest data of July, Szép card uploads increased by 36 percent (28.6 billion forints), while spending increased by 54 percent (53.9 billion forints), compared to July last year.

In the first seven months, the amount of uploads approached 227 billion forints, which is an increase of 30 percent, compared to the previous year and 55 percent, compared to 2019, while payments with the Szép card increased even more dynamically. (MTI)
