MTÜ: continues to renovate the beaches again this year
100 beaches nationwide will receive funding for development and renovation in 2020 from the Hungarian Tourism Agency’s (MTÜ) beach development program launched in 2017 – the agency’s chief executive officer told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
Könnyid László added that free waters play a decisive role in tourism, which is why the development of free beaches is a priority.
He said that the 2020 developments will focus on the renovation of basic infrastructure in a family-friendly way, including the renovation of washbasin blocks and outdoor changing rooms. (MTI)
