MTÜ: domestic guest traffic may be larger than last year
In Hungary, domestic tourism will be the first to recover, and the number of domestic travelers and their spending will be higher than last year, the CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said in Zalakaros on Tuesday.

Guller Zoltán said at the handover of the renovation of the tourinform office in Zalakaros: after the domestic guest traffic, foreigners first come from the surrounding countries, then they will be followed by tourists arriving from within the Schengen borders.
Recovery from the crisis can be achieved through tax cuts and continued improvements, and even more if possible, and the austerity measures will only deepen the crisis, the CEO said.
