MOSZ: less winter wheat will grow this year
This year, 3.7 to 4 million tons of winter wheat yield is expected by the National Association of Agricultural Cooperatives and Producers (MOSZ), compared to last year’s 4.5 million tons.
Rainfall was good for the spring sown crops. According to experts, a record yield is expected from corn and sunflower. The planted area of corn is 1.2 million hectares, the planted area of sunflower is around 600 thousand hectares. (MTI)
