Now it is not worth to build a sugar factory
That would be great to build a new sugar factory, but we do not have 50-100 billion HUF for that – responded Fischer Béla to the idea of the farmers of Kapuvár, over a new sugar factory.
By using used equipments it would also cost tens of billions of forints to establish a new factory – said Fischer Béla. He believes, that under a certain plant size, the production of sugar is not economical, while the farmers of Kapuvár plan to grow sugar beet, and open a co-operative sugar factory. They feel untenable, that Hungary must import the sugar – reports Penzcentrum.hu, after Népszava.
