Distributor recalls crushed oregano due to olive leaf contamination
Böllér-Ker Kft. is recalling the product called Oregano crumbled that it sells because it contains olive leaf contamination – the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) told MTI on Thursday.
According to the information, the product recall affects products distributed by Böllér-Ker Kft., originating in Turkey, available in various packaging, with a best-before date of July 31, 2026.
The product consumption does not pose a food safety risk – the authority announced.
The authority is monitoring the company’s actions and the further fate of the recalled products – the NKFH indicated.
