Mol: Hungary’s fuel supply is secured despite the extreme weather
The extraordinary weather is temporarily slowing down some of MOL’s rail freight shipments, but Hungary’s fuel supply is assured, Mol told MTI on Friday.
The raw material and product transfers between the Bratislava and Hungarian sites may face transportation difficulties, but the company has the situation under control.
The monthly freight turnover, which exceeds one hundred thousand tons, is handled by an average of 4-6 railway trains per day The obstacles caused by the snow are being removed on both sides of the Hungarian-Slovak border, and work is underway to normalize rail traffic.
