The base price of milk has changed

The Milk Marketing Board Interprofessional Organization decided at its meeting on 13 June 2013 to modify its projection from 90 HUF to 94 HUF for the quta year, lasting from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014.

According to the presidency of the Milk Marketing Board Interprofessional Organization, the market processes are characterized by strong market demand toards the raw material of milk.

The EU’s milk production is below by 2-3 percent of the level of the same period last year for 11 months. In addition, the Italian spot prices are on a persistently high level.
