The European Parliament decided about the amendment of the consumer protection rules for journeys

The European Parliament (EP) voted about the amendment of the consumer protection rules for journeys, so in the future the same regulations will be applied to organized trips reserved on the Internet containing flights, hotel reservations or car rental, as were purchased at a travel agency.

The rules for travel packages are applied to two packages. Under the amended rules before the tourists sign the contract, the holidaymakers, tour operators have to explain clearly that it is a package. (MTI)
