Lidl introduces modern waste management technology
Lidl Hungary has already modernised its waste processing in 79 from its 164 stores. When the project is complete (by the end of the 2016 business year), Lidl will be recycling 95 percent of the waste it produces. The project costs HUF 800 million and thanks to the investment, Lidl will reduce the size of its compressed waste to one fourth of what it used to be.
