The Hungarian McDonald’s network is expanding with Mobiliti electric chargers
Hungary’s two leading service providers, MVM Mobiliti Kft., a pioneer in electromobility, and Progress Étteremhárosal Kft., the operator of domestic McDonald’s restaurants, have entered into a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the electric car charging network will be expanded throughout the country at strategically important locations for both parties.
As of October 2023, within the framework of a cooperation agreement, MVM Mobiliti has started preparations for the installation of electric car charging equipment at McDonald’s fast-food restaurants with their own parking lot. As a result of the process, which is expected to take place by the end of next year, all restaurants where the necessary electricity supply is provided by the network service provider will receive a minimum 50 kW charging device, as well as two parking spaces designated by signs and painting for electric cars arriving there. In addition to the 50 kW charging equipment, up to 150 kW chargers will be installed in many busy locations as part of the cooperation.
“It is a great pleasure and at the same time a huge responsibility for Mobiliti that we can make our charging infrastructure of the usual quality available at the locations of the country’s dominant fast food chain as well. We consider the development of our services to be of key importance, with which we can respond dynamically to the needs of our customers, and in addition, we want to serve our 90,000 already registered and future customers at more and more points”
– explained Szabolcs Balogh, managing director of MVM Mobiliti Kft.
