MNB: Card payment transactions grew by 25 percent in the second quarter
Payment card purchase turnover increased by 25 percent in the second quarter of this year, exceeding all previous growth rates – the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) announced on Monday.
According to the data of the central bank, the number of accounts at the domestic payment service providers was similar to the previous periods of about 10.4 million, and the number of HUF invoices used for primary payment purposes was 6.6 million. (MTI)
