MKIK: this year’s WorldSkills world competition ended with a Hungarian gold medal
This year’s WorldSkills world competition, which took place on September 10-15, ended with a Hungarian gold medal. were held in Lyon, France, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) informed MTI on Monday.
According to the announcement, web developer Olivér Mrakovics won a gold medal, IT system operator Zsolt Koncsik and software developer Stefán Kornél won bronze medals at the WorldSkills competition, and 18 Hungarian competitors received medals of excellence.
The chamber explains: Hungary has been a member of WorldSkills International since 2006, and WorldSkills Europe since 2007, of which MKIK has been a Hungarian member organization since 2011.
MKIK organizes the participation in the WorldSkills and EuroSkills international professional competitions within the framework of the WorldSkills Hungary Program renewed in 2020.
