What do women like and what are they looking for?
Canadian market research company Marketel conducted a study recently that revealed: 50 percent of car buyers, 93 percent of OTC product buyers and 80 percent of home decoration goods’ purchasers are women. The company’s Marketelle division focuses exclusively on women in 4 key areas: digital and mobile, branded content, social media and shopper science. Marketelle’s first study introduced 10 brands Canadian women like the most: No 1 was coffee house and restaurant chain Tim Hortons, Walmart was second in the ranking, followed by Costco in the 3rd position, Facebook finished 4th and Apple was 5th.
