What will we eat when we grow up?
This spring Hungary is about to appeal to the European Court of Justice, because after a long moratorium a few months ago the European Commission gave green light to growing another genetically modified plant variety. Most probably Amflora would not be grown in Hungary as farmers here do not deal with industrial potato, but we do think that in this case the Commission did not take into consideration the safety of consumers. Since we produce and distribute only 100-percent GM-free products, we think that this legal dispute could lay the groundwork for discussing the issue and calling attention to shortcomings in legislation by Brussels.
