Industry down

Industrial production was down by 0.3 percent in June, compared to June 2007. According to a report by KSH, total production was up by 5.6 percent in the first half of the year, compared to 2007. June 2008 was the first month when a drop in industrial production was recorded since October 2002. Industrial export was up by 8.2 percent in the first half of 2008, compared to 2007.
