850 billion USD will be spent on air travel next year
According to the latest data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), one percent of the world’s aggregate GDP 861 billion USD could be spent worldwide on air travel in 2018.
According to the forecast of the Montreal-based trading organization, in 2018 this will be 9 percent more than the 787 billion USD expected at the end of 2017, due to the 3 percent expansion of the global GDP. According to IATA’s expectations, the number of air passengers will increase by 5.6 percent from 4 to 4.3 billion next year. (MTI)
