6,500 kilograms of illegal tobacco wasseized by NAV
About 6,500 kilograms of unlicensed tobacco was seized by the Hajdú-Bihar County Tax and Customs Directorate of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) in Debrecen – the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Chief announced on Tuesday.
According to the announcement: while patrolling, police officers smelled heavy tobacco scent on Monday near a property, so they went to an outbuilding belonging to the house, where a 51-year-old woman from Monostorpályi was packing a large amount of cut tobacco.
The woman was taken to the police station and then handed over to the NAV staff. (MTI)
