The Hungarian Food Bank Association provides support to about 40 thousand families in need during Christmas, after last weekend the organization's volunteers collected 270 tons of food products.
The amount of food is 75 tonnes more than in 2014 as the result of the Christmas gathering action that took place in almost 150 cities and 300 locations between Friday and Sunday. Five thousand volunteers took part in action – the CIB Bank supporter of the charity action informed MTI. The food donations were gathered at the Auchan, Metro, Penny Market and Tesco stores. (MTI)
