The Bečov drink collection’s value is about 30 million crowns
The current value of the drink collection which was found in 1985 in the western Bohemian Becov nad Teplou castle is about 30 million crowns (345 million HUF).
Andrea Grecmanová, the deputy of the castle’s caretaker told that the previous estimates were about 30 million crowns.
The collection consists of 136 wine, cognac and champagne bottles. The bottles were filled between 1890 and 1899 with expensive, mostly of French origin drink. The majority of the original glass vignettes are preserved so can be accurately identified. (MTI)
