One of the reasons for this is that in the long term we cannot count on a significant decrease in energy prices, so input materials will also represent a steadily higher expenditure in the future. Geothermal energy and thermal water play an even more important role at DélKerTÉSZ: in the next seven-year period, vegetable production will be made more efficient within the framework of an investment worth about 17 billion forints, according to the summary of DélKerTÉSZ, which brings together 500 producers from Szentes.
