Approximately 138 tons of fish was planted in the waters in Zala
Last year, approximately 138 tons of fish was planted into the fishing waters of Zala county. The fishing catches were more than 175 tons – Márton Miklós, Fisheries Inspector of the Government Office for Zala County told MTI.
The most pupalar fish was the carp, of which 106 tonnes has been planted and 22 tons of bream. Among the predators 5 tons of zanders, 3.5 tons of pikes and 384 kilograms of tench was planted. The fish population of the Zala River was expanded with 220 kilograms of native trouts – Márton Miklós added. (MTI)
