Quality pálinka as Hungaricum
Pálinka National Council was created to organize and supervise the quality control of the Pálinka, and develop the national pálinka-strategy.
In the 13 member plenum exponents of the Minister of Finance and delegates of professional organizations also involved. The Council is leaded by the Director of Miskolc Likőrgyár Ltd., Oroszné Prekop Erzsébet who belives that the pálinka (fruit cooked as a hundred percent of distillate) can only be a real national drink, if the manufacturers observes all the parameters. To protect the quality, the laboratory testing conditions, must be created, and penalize, if a manufacturer diverges from the specified quality.
