Quality control sign against black wine
Hungary imported more than 130 thousand hectoliters of wine last year, a large part from Italy. The biggest problem, however, is the black import. Wine communities want quality control signs.
According to the HNT; a large part of the imported wine arrive through illegal channels. Horváth Csaba Secretary-General says: it is a major problem that there are no control results. The HNT would use quality control signs instead of the wine seals. The only problem is that probably this sign would only be meaningful if it would have prestige, and yet to get, it would be very time-and money-consuming process – reports szabadfold.hu.
