Finlandia vodka wins international recognition
The results of the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2013, held in New York in the beginning of March, were announced last week. Winner of the vodka class was the Finnish Finlandia Classic Vodka. This news was announced last Friday in the British newspaper The Independent.
A jury comprising alcohol experts from various fields picked their favourite international spirits in this competition, held now for the second time. The jury included, for example, writers, bartenders and sommeliers. As well as vodka, the 27 different categories included, for example, whiskey, calvados, tequila and liqueurs.
