Consumer price growth accelerated minimally in OECD countries in July
In the member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the annual growth rate of consumer prices accelerated to 1.2 percent in July from 1.1 percent in June.
In July, the decline in energy prices slowed to 8.4 percent after 9.5 percent in June, while the rise in food prices slowed from 4.6 percent to 3.8 percent.
In OECD countries, inflation excluding food and energy prices in July was 1.7 percent after the 1.6 percent in June. (MTI)
